Ready to Take Roboticsto the Next Level?
A hands-on pathway to design, build, program, problem-solve, and grow through competitive robotics—no prior robotics experience required.
Build. Learn. Compete. Grow.
Gear Guardians FTC
Ready to take robotics to the next level?
Gear Guardians FTC, in partnership with YEAT UP, gives students in grades 7–12 an opportunity to develop real-world skills through competitive robotics, engineering, technology, teamwork, and innovation. Students have a dedicated environment at YEAT UP where they can design, build, program, test, problem-solve, and prepare for competition as part of the Gear Guardians team.
No prior robotics experience is required. Students simply need to bring a willingness to learn, contribute, and take on new challenges.

More Than Building Robots
A Competitive Robotics Pathway at YEAT UP
Gear Guardians FTC and YEAT UP are working together to build a community pathway into engineering, robotics, technology, and innovation.
YEAT UP provides the physical environment where Gear Guardians students can design, build, program, test, and prepare for competition.
Gear Guardians extends that investment back into the community by supporting robotics, pre-engineering, and STEM learning opportunities for YEAT UP participants.
Together, the goal is to create an environment where young people have consistent opportunities to learn, create, collaborate, and develop their technical abilities.
Building Skills. Building Community.
The impact of Gear Guardians extends beyond the competition team.
Support for the program helps strengthen both competitive robotics and community STEM education by expanding student access to:
Equipment • Engineering Experiences • Mentorship • Programming • A Consistent Place to Learn & Create
This creates a connection between students pursuing competitive robotics and the broader STEM learning opportunities available through YEAT UP.
Ready to Join the Gear Guardians?
Whether your student already loves robotics or is ready to explore it for the first time, Gear Guardians FTC provides an opportunity to learn, build, collaborate, and take on new challenges.
Enrollment is currently open for students in grades 7–12.
No prior robotics experience required. Come ready to learn.
